The horse boarding at Het Platte Putje offers 7 spacious boxes and 5 paddocks in Groede, Zeeland Flanders. Your horse stays in the large quiet meadows around the campsite, with riding routes through dunes and polders nearby. From September through May, the beaches are accessible on horseback.

At Het Platte Putje we love animals. Among the chickens, ducks, sheep and donkeys in the yard there is always room for a horse — and for riders who like to stay close to their four-legged friend.
We live on the grounds ourselves, know every horse that stays here and understand what a calm, comfortable stay requires. Whether you come for one weekend or a few weeks — your horse is watched over personally.

On the beach with your horse
Beach access by month.
From September to May all day long. In summer only before 10:00 and after 18:00 — to keep beachgoers and horses apart.
Good to know
Clear up droppings straight away
Required by law as soon as you take your horse onto the beach — a small shovel and bag is all it takes.
Ride along the tide line
Outside the season you ride right along the waterline. Some nature areas are closed all year — watch the signs at each dune crossing.
